1. Prices

A written quotation is a fixed price and stays open for 30 days. Nothing listed in it will be charged again as an extra. If we find more work is needed once the job is under way, we agree it with you in writing before we carry on.

2. Paying

How you pay is settled when you accept the quotation. As a rule we take a deposit when you say yes and the remainder when the job is finished, by bank transfer or cheque. Residential work carries VAT at 13.5%.

3. Guarantees

All installation work and repairs come with a written workmanship guarantee lasting 10 years. It covers faults in how the work was done, and you get it in writing before we begin. A full roof replacement also comes with the Lifetime Leak Guarantee, whereas repairs and part-roof jobs have the 10-year workmanship guarantee only. Neither guarantee extends to damage from later work by another contractor, weather beyond what is normal in Ireland, or a structural failure in the building itself.

4. Insurance

Public liability cover stands at €6.5 million and employer liability cover at €13 million. A copy of each certificate is available if you ask.

5. Getting onto the roof

You need to make sure our crew can reach the property safely while we work, and that we can park close by.

6. If something goes wrong

Irish law governs these terms and the Irish courts alone can hear a dispute. Please raise any complaint with [email protected] first. We try to settle complaints within 5 working days.
